Happy Birthday!

Nicole, today was your fifth birthday. As soon as I got over to your house in the morning you told me it was your birthday. I took you to school and Ms. Rech gave you a paper crown and you sat in the front of the class. You were supposed to introduce me but you went into your "shy" mode and didn't want to. So I read, "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" as your gift to the class. I picked you up from CDC at 12:00 and we went to Rocky Cola for lunch. You had your chicken strips, fries and a vanilla shake. We hung out at home for a couple of hours before picking up cupcakes to take to your classmates at CDC at 3:00. Then, off to hula practice where you were playing around in class and getting scolded by Kanani. A small party for the hula girls at Maui Chicken and that was the end to your long, excitinng day. Three groups singing "Happy Birthday" to you in the same day!

Playing at School

I picked you up from school today but you wanted to stay and have your snack and then play in the yard. Two of your friends wanted to play with you and me and they started throwing leaves on my head. You stood up to them and said, "My uncle doesn't want you to do that. Stop it!"
