So we were in the car with Kristen going to Color me Mine and you and Kristen were talking about boyfriends. Kristen said you weren't going out with your boyfriend anymore and you said he dropped you! However, you said you had "hundreds" of other boyfriends. I don't know if that is good or bad. Maxwell was your "boyfriend" from pre-school at the Montessori.

New Shoes

So we were in Cabazon this weekend and went to the Stride-rite store to buy your shoes for the coming school year. You were adament about getting velcro shoes and did not want to get any with laces. I thought something was up so I said, "Nicole, are you embarrassed at school since you don't know how to tie your shoes?" You did not say anything. I knew that was the reason so I promised you that I would practice with you everyday until school started. Mom dropped the ball, as usual, and did not do anything about it so I started teaching you myself yesterday and you were able to do it by today. You will have mastered it in another week.
