"F"

Well you got an "F" in Social Studies. You got it last Wednesday but didn't find out until Friday and you only told your mom and said not to tell me or dad. Dad ended up grounding you by not letting you go out to dinner with the Northstars after your Saturday game. T's mom told me you were grounded due to grades and I had no idea what she was talking about since no one had told me. I went to you and asked if you were grounded and you said yes because you got an F on the test. So much for me knowing things.

You were afraid I would be mad but I told you I wouldn't be mad. I just wanted to see what we could do to help you study better. I think that means no more phone while studying and more preparation You are completely on board with anything because you know how bad an "F" is. Hopefully things will improve since you had a "D-" in Science too.

Knott's

Today you were off school and were supposed to go to Knott's with Brooke. However, Brooke texted last night and said she had too much homework. I thought you wouldn't want to go but you said I'll go with you. So off we went this morning. I woke up with a headache and had to pick up some things for the bath remodel before we left. We got there at 10:15 then went on a few rides but I wasn't feeling good and had cold sweats and felt nauseous. It might have been the rides too. I tried to ride as much as possible but after Silver Bullet, Accelerator and Boomerang I said that you could ride by yourself after lunch. I was sweating on Boomerang and you sensed that I wasn't feeling well and said that we could go home and that you had ridden all your favorite rides already. On the walk to the car you grabbed my arm and it was cold (it was a hot day) and you said that something was wrong with me. I was able to make the drive home and then took a shower and went to sleep I awoke feeling much better and you were in your room working on your school story board.
