Earthquake in Japan

There was a huge earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011. There was widespread destruction throughout Northern Japan. I bought you some t-shirts that showed your support for Japan and the purchase helped with their fundraising relief.

You've also been asked to play with the 4th grade Northstars team that is going to Florida for nationals. While we were in the car yesterday driving to hula you said something about Japan needing help more than you needed anything. So I said that your trip to Florida was going to cost a lot and you said that we should just give the money to Japan and that you did not have to go on the trip to play at nationals.
