"Awesome!"

So the other day you were going to spend the night at your dad's house. When you found out you were going to be staying at his house three nights in a row you said, "Awesome!" Then, as soon as you said it you looked at me and said, "But it's awesome to spend time with you too!" You then went on to say how you would be spending the weekend with us and how that was awesome too.

I'm not sure how you realize that you have to balance things out. I've never said anything about it but you seem to intrinsically know you have to balance things out. Even when I say thinks like, "I love you more than anything in the world." and you come back and say, "I love you more than anything...and mom and dad too."

You will never pick a favorite.

I hope that you can always do that even when you get older.

Last week you mentioned something about doing something with parents and I said that was right and you should always ask mommy and daddy and you said, "And you too because you're my parent."

You are very special Nicole. I know that I'm biased but you just know things beyond your years.
