Trip to NYC

You went to New York with Uncle Ron Gong on Spring Break. You were watching ice skating at Rockefeller Plaza when you saw Peanut! You were supposed to fly back on Wednesday but when you went to check in the flight was canceled and you had to stay another night back East. You were crying uncontrollably because you wanted to come home to see Mom, Dad and Me!

We Come From Everywhere

Here are some photos from your 2nd Grade Class Play.

First Holy Communion

Sweetheart,

You had your first Holy Communion May 9, 2009. You were so cute in your white dress. You carried in the Bible for the ceremony. Everyone came over to the house after for BBQ then went to Lawry's for Uncle Steve's 50th Birthday. Unfortunately, you got sick later that night after you went to bed. You probably ate too much and threw up near midnight. You were sick the rest of the night and into the morning but you began to feel better through the day and we went to Uncle John's house for Mother's Day that evening.

You were so sweet because after you threw up you were sitting in your gaming chair still feeling sick and I was sitting next to you and you said, "I'm sorry for keeping you up Uncle." You are so kind Sweetie. Then, in the morning, even though you were still throwing up you told mom, "Happy Mother's Day."

You are a very special girl.

Love,
Uncle Ron

FOR Tournament

Hi Baby,

You played in your second FOR tournament this past weekend. You came in second to VFW. You played well over the tournament and all your hard work at clinics and practices is paying off. You've become great friends with the Tashimas and Iwakiris. They are nice families and Aunty Michi always feeds us after hula and on the weekends.

You went with the Flyz to the fair at John Thomas Dye with Mom and Dad. Mom told me that you did something really nice at the fair. Rylie didn't want to go on one of the rides and you whispered to your mom that you would stay with Rylie while all the other girls rode the ride. You played games with Rylie while the other girls went on the ride.

That was very kind of you. That's what makes you very special.

Love,
Uncle Ron
