First Day of 7th Grade

Today was your first day of school in 7th grade. You were up early at 6:30 after playing all day yesterday with Holly, the Tashimas and Murobayashis. You then had practice and then Boba with Ally Yamada, Maddie Y. and Holly. I asked if you were excited about school and you reluctantly said you were. I hope you had a great day. I'll be picking you up in two hours to hear how it went.

You loved your schedule since you got all the teachers you wanted and had P.E. in third period before nutrition allowing you time to change after swimming. You're getting to be a big girl. When I read the first entries of this blog I realize how much you have grown up.

OK, Now I've heard the whole story

So holding hands with Justin for 5 minutes was a dare by Blake. I made Kayla sit next to you at lunch so Justin couldn't sit next to you and I told Kayla and Holly that you couldn't sit next to Justin on the rides at Knott's tomorrow!

What the heck? Justin posted this. The co-ed team hung out all day and night and I guess you dad was not supervising the two of you. I'll have my eyes out on you tomorrow at Knott's. You're in the championship game today against Jess, Kimi and Kristin. They have a stacked team so I'm not expecting a win. However, you never know.

Boy Crazy

So you made a co-ed basketball team and you are now boy crazy. Justin, Conner, Jason and Blake are the boys and Katie, Kayla, Holly and you are the girls. You've been hanging out with them and are officially "single and ready to mingle." Justin called you yesterday to go to a TV filming. Your first date?? Too bad because you'll have started school on that day.

This weekend in the tournament so I'm sure you'll be more boy crazy watching the boys on the other teams too. Geez....

You got your class schedule for 7th grade today too. You got all the teachers you wanted and had P.E. in third period before snack break so you don't have to rush back from the pool during your swimming rotation. You still need to read your final book for the summer. You've taken all summer to read two thin books and now need to finish a third.

Hotspot

So you left on Monday for Sequoia National Park and you took the Ipad and Hotspot. The next day I get a text from Verizon that my data usage has exceeded my limit of 6 gigs per month. I check online and you had used 5.1 gigs in 24 hours! I called you and asked if you were letting your cousins log on and you said you were so I had to tell you to stop using it.

Mom then called me and said you were sulking since I had "yelled" at you and was mad. I talked to you and said that I wasn't mad and that you just had to be aware of usage. I added an extra 2 gig for the month since there are still two weeks left and we still have to go to Vegas this weekend.

The past weekend was fun filled for you. We watched North South on Friday then we went to the first half of the games on Saturday and then you went to the Dale M. Inouye Tournament from 11-1 to volunteer with Kimi. After that you had a game at 2 against the Hoku (you scored six pts and won.) You then went to the Gardena Obon then to the DMI social that night with a bunch of your friends before leaving on your trip to the Park on Sunday.
