Catching Up

Hey Nicole,

I haven't written in awhile. Lots to cover. You just celebrated your fourth six-year old birthday party today with the kids from Country Day. Your mom had promised to cut back on the number of parties you have but it is still the same. Chucky Cheese with the MB gang on your real birthday, Gable House bowling for the family, American Girl with the Dragonflyz and today's party back at Gable House.

You seem OK with the new school. It seems like we are out of touch with the families and the other kids in the class since we never meet them when you catch the bus to school.

Basketball is frustrating to watch cuz you pretty much just stand at your spot and never move. You are so passive. The only time you ever showed aggression was in soccer but your mom pulled you out of it for hoops.

You went ice skating yesterday for the first time at a birthday party but you held onto the side boards the whole time and did two 360's around the rink. Later, when I asked you if your enjoyed skating you said, "Yes!" Go figure...

I'm not sure if you're going to be an athlete. At this point I don't think so. However, as long as you are kind to others then I couldn't ask for more! You are still one of the sweetest kids around and everyone loves you.
